This first-ever specially created Encores! production is a celebration of the very best from a half-century of Broadway revues – numbers and sketches from the legendary Ziegfeld Follies, as well as The Garrick Gaieties, The Band Wagon, As Thousands Cheer, This is the Army, Call Me Mister and Pins and Needles, among many others, with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, P.G. Wodehouse, George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Howard Dietz, Arthur Schwartz, Harold Rome, Cole Porter, Dorothy Fields, Jimmy McHugh, Jay Gorney, E.Y. Harburg, Eubie Blake, Andy Razaf, Jimmy Durante, Jule Styne, Betty Comden, Adolph Green, Sheldon Harnick and many others.
