More than 50 Indian Hill High School students are involved in the school production of "Singin' in the Rain," at 8p.m. March 3 through 6 in the school auditorium.
The production, which features Jim Willits, a junior, in the role made famous by Gene Kelly, is getting an assist from Mike Gruber, a 1982 Indian Hill graduate, who has performed in My Favorite Year at Lincoln Center and in Miss Saigon on Broadway. Gruber is working with the leads to recreate some of the original choreography. In addition to Willits, major roles are played by Brian Wymore, Alyson Hahl, Peter Strike and Julie Neumark. There's also a Broadway Rhythm Corps of student tap dancers. Hank Henley, director/producer, is assisted by Kevin Job, a new staff member at Indian Hill, and Stevie Rivers Rawlings, a free-lance choreographer. Tickets at $5 may be ordered with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Vicky Tullis, 9420 Indian Hill Road, Cincinnati 45243. Productions Index main Library page
