Plot Summary:
Dames at Sea is about a broke producer (he's had twelve flops in a row) trying to regain his touch with a new musical. His leading lady (Mona) is an egomanical diva. Events force them to move the debut of the musical to a battleship, who's skipper happens to have a thing for Mona.

By a strange coincidence, one of the musical's cast members (Joan) happens to have a sailor boyfriend (Lucky) on the same battleship, who can also tap dance.

More events force two fresh-off-the-bus chorines (Dick and Ruby) to step up and save the day and the musical.
